Goldilocks and the Three Bears–no Q

Once upon a time there were three Bears.

A Papa bear, a mama bear, and a little baby bear.

They all lived in a small house in the forest.

One morning Mama bear prepared breakfast.  And the three Bears sat down to their  bowls of porridge.

But the porridge was too hot!  So the three Bears decided to go for a walk while the porridge cooled.

Soon after they left, along came a little girl.  She knocked on the door.  No one answered.  So she went in.  Her name was Goldilocks.

Goldilocks found herself in the kitchen.  On the table she saw three bowls of porridge.

Goldilocks was hungry!  So she sat down to eat.  She tasted the big bowl of porridge.  But it was too hot.  Next she tasted the medium-sized bowl of porridge.  But it was too cold.

Then she tasted the little baby bowl of porridge.  It was just right.

And she ate it all up.

Goldilocks was tired.  She saw three chairs.  She sat in the big chair.  But it was too hard.

She sat in the medium-sized chair.  But it was too soft.

Then she sat in the little baby chair. It was just right.

And then CRASH!  The chair broke and Goldilocks fell to the floor.

Goldilocks was sleepy.  She went upstairs.  There she found three beds.  She lay down in the big bed.  But it was too hard.  She lay down in the medium-sized bed.  But it was too soft.

Then she lay down on the little baby bed.  It was just right.

And Goldilocks was soon fast asleep.

And while she slept the three Bears came home.

Papa bear looked at the kitchen table and said, “Someone’s been eating my porridge!”

“Someone’s been eating my porridge!”  said Mama bear.

“Someone’s been eating my porridge!”  said little baby bear.  “And they ate it all up!”

“Someone’s been sitting in my chair!”  said Papa bear.

“Someone’s been sitting in my chair!”  said Mama bear.

“Someone’s been sitting in my chair!”  said little baby bear.  “And they broke it to bits!”

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!”  said Papa bear.

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!”  said Mama bear.

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!”  said little baby bear.  “And she’s still here!”

And with that, Goldilocks woke up, saw the three Bears, screamed, and jumped out the

window

And ran away.  And the three Bears never saw her again

Goldilocks and the Family of Honey-wise Animals- no R

Once upon a time a family of honey-wise animals lived in a small house in the woods.

At sun-up, Mama made a huge pot of oatmeal to be dished out into bowls. Mama called to the clan, “Come and get it!”

As the family sat down to eat, each tested the oatmeal.

“Ouch! Mine’s too hot!” gasped Papa.

“So is mine!” said Mama and Baby. So, the honey-wise family left the table and decided to wait until the oatmeal cooled off.

Not even two minutes since they left the house, then a small child with a golden mane came uninvited into the house. She was called Goldilocks.

Goldilocks walked into the kitchen, and on the table she found the bowls of oatmeal.

Goldilocks was famished! So she sat down to eat. She tasted the biggest-sized bowl of oatmeal. But it was too hot. Next she tasted the medium-sized bowl of oatmeal.

But it was too cold.

So she tasted the little baby bowl of oatmeal. It was delectable!

And she ate it all up.

Goldilocks was stuffed, and looking about she spotted a couple of sofas. She sat in the biggest sofa. But it was too stiff.

She sat in the medium sofa. But it was too limp

Then she sat in the little baby sofa and it was impeccable.

But soon, the sofa split down the middle and Goldilocks landed with a messy bump.

Too sleepy to clean up the mess, she climb up to the next latitude of the house and found some beds. She lay down in the biggest bed. But it was too stiff. She lay down in the medium bed. But it was too limp.

Then she lay down on the little baby bed. It was heavenly!.

And Goldilocks quickly fell asleep.

And while she slept the honey-wise family came home.

Papa looked at the kitchen table and said, “Someone’s been eating my oatmeal!”

“Someone’s been eating my oatmeal!” said Mama.

“Someone’s been eating my oatmeal!” said little Baby. “And they ate it all up!”

“Someone’s been sitting in my sofa!” said Papa.

“Someone’s been sitting in my sofa!” said Mama.

“Someone’s been sitting in my sofa!” said little Baby. “And it’s split down the middle!”

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” said Papa.

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” said Mama.

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” said little Baby. “And she’s still in it!”

And with that, Goldilocks woke up, saw the upset honey-wise family and thought, “It’s best I go!”

And she jumped out the window and galloped away. And the honey-wise family did not see Goldilocks again. Not at any time!
